Do you know Shahabiyah Rasulullah ﷺ prayed for 6 months to meet Ramadan?
Yes, they prayed for 6 months to Allah to extend their life in the hope of meeting Ramadan, and for another 6 months after that, they prayed to Allah in the hope their good deeds would be accepted.
So why we’re looking forward to Ramadan?
Tafsir Ibn Kathir Rahimahullah, “Allah praised the month of Ramadan out of the other months by choosing it to send down the Glorious Qur’an”. It shows us that Ramadan is a very very special month
Ramadan, as ust. Khalid Basalamah Rahimahullah said it’s like training in a whole full month to make us a better person. In those 30 days, Allah prepares to give us amazing rewards for our good deeds.
In this holy month, the hell gate is closed, and heaven’s gate is open wide for whoever success with their Ramadan
So, have you prepared your successful Ramadan plan?
Have you ever decided what kind of goal you want to achieve during Ramadan?
How much sadaqah have you given?
How many juz or surah Quran have you read?
How many brothers and sisters have you guaranteed their iftar?
Hmm… does it sound hard and tiring?
Not at all, if we prepare our Ramadan program effectively!
Try to write anything you’d like to achieve during Ramadan, do it one step at a time.
Make a plan and target based on your wish and your ability. Make sure you do not miss anything, every single day. Write down to help you remember, or much better get into the act immediately
A month, where there’s laylatul qadr night in it, a month where we fast and we will get rewards immediately from Allah, a month where every single good deed will be multiplied a lot times than other months
What are you waiting for? Make your target, set your alarm, and do your best good deeds.
Marhaban ya Ramadan 🙂
